I looked through the book Encaustic Workshop: Artistic Techniques for Working with Wax and as always skipped around the book. Just started this silly piece with a few stamps using leftover ink and kept throwing wax onto it to see what happened.
I was able to get a few wallpaper sample books from Berry's Wallpaper and Paint (Benjamin Moore) store in Homestead [THANK YOU!] and decided to incorporate some of the pieces.

Why be serious all of the time? Great minds run in the same channel! I did something similar with words on my blog. This can only mean one thing - You are working too hard!
JJ: I think you are correct. I am working too hard. I need a break. =)
How do you follow and comment on so many blogs?!
I was wondering about the same thing Angeline... How does JJ comment on so many??
It looks like you had fun with this painting and I know for a fact that you have been working too hard.
A-M: I use Google Reader and categorize my followers.
JJ: I use Google Reader, too...but you can categorize followers? Geesh, you have many more than I, LOL.
Perhaps I need to categorize those I follow...must go play with that!
Jason: Yep. =(
