Cigarillo Box - Orange and Blue Abstract Original Painting

Empty cigarillo boxes
The cigarillo boxes were courtesy of Ms. Donna, who Andy and I met at the Cypress House Inn, Key West, Florida during the boat races November, 2010.

The cigarillo box shown finished here belongs to Andy.

I love the abstract! So, does this hold the box or is it part of the box? Is the art on the box or on paper and then put on the box? Sorry for the questions....just curious.

Did I mention I love the abstract?

Jason,
The abstract encaustic "Orange & Blue" is only on the top outside cover of the box. The paint adhered directly to the wood. The encaustic paint can go on paper that is stuck to wood, too, but not this time. =) Thanks, Jason - for always asking questions. I hope you saw my answer on FB. =)

Hookah tobacco is one of the most historic substances in the world. In the last few years, the most popular hookah tobacco was the Turkish blend. However, these days you can find numerous flavors of hookah in the market.
