This event sponsored by Whole Foods Market was very cool because the proceeds benefit the sea turtle conservation program at The Museum of Science & Discovery in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Most artists submitted art that had a turtle theme. If I had time to create something for the show, or had not sold my little turtle from Pinecrest Gardens (yippee!), a turtle I would have exhibited. Instead, I exhibited a few ocean inspired pieces, and happily all three will be on display at the Whole Foods Market Lifestyle Center through September. If one sells, I would be more than happy to donate a portion to the Museum for turtle conservation!
A portion of all sales of my art go to a charity. I made the promise waaaay back, and kept it since! Yes, I also donate part of my regular income, if you must know. LOL
