The ocean is one of my favorite places to ever enjoy. I love salt water on my skin and hair. I love watching it, being in it, smelling it, and depending on if by accident or not, even tasting it. The beach is where I recharge, renew, forget about all the little things in life. The beach and ocean give me perspective.
I took this little encaustic to my place of work, and placed it right over my office phone. Now, I have a little piece of the ocean in my office to stare at when needing calm.
Do you see the waves? The way the colors of the water change? The way the white foam moves?
