Art in Progress - Paintings at Work

These are in various stages of progress. All paintings are on paper and have at least one of the following: ink, acrylic paint, and/or white glue. One may be finished, but I am still undecided. The photos were taken yesterday morning, and all but the one have changed between then and this post. None of the photos are considered well taken, because, after all, none of the paintings are ready that stage. Yes, those are my feet...=)

All of these paintings are inspired by the trip taken with Andy to the Blue Ridge Parkway and Skyline Drive.

What do you like? What do you dislike? Critiques welcome, because your eyes are fresh views!

PS: I use the camera as a second pair of very critical eyes. The camera helps me see what the painting needs. The camera, however, cannot take your place.

A-M: I spent many years in the Blue Ridge range. What would I like to see? Your perspective.

I really like the third one down. It reminds me of the many overlaping layers of hills in the Blue Ridge area. It makes me homesick.

JJ: I'm working on them! LOL

Jason: Funny, you and Mama caught the same one. I am thinking of darkening the "accidental" trees in the third one down and then leaving it alone. I truly need to take more photos of these, LOL.
