It was a gorgeous evening on October 16th, 2010 for the first Bird Road Art District (BRAD) Art Walk. From 7pm to 10 pm, artists showed of their work and fans asked questions and enjoyed conversations. Andy and I went for a stroll and see my friends and a few new-to-us studios.
From left to right - Me, Abel, Maruchi, and Liliana. We collaborate, critique, and encourage each other at the "shared studio" Art Works. Great times and paintings created in a happy space!
Robaldo (see blog post for more of his art) with art fans.

Instructors from the Miami Art Club, artists Frank Ebra and Ricardo Irisarri.
Art by students at the Miami Art Club.
Art by Mano.
Artist Romero Hidalgo, working and demonstrating oil painting techniques.
More cars, more warehouse studios.
Favorite stop of the night...the gem of all the studios (besides Art Works where we share the space)....
Ismael Gomez Peralta's studio.
Ismael is the one in the black shirt. The discussion involved his current projects.
Want to see more art? Well, come on out on the third Saturday of every month! The next open gallery and art walk will be November 20, 2010. For more information, the flyer is below my photos. Hope to see you in November at the Art Works Studio! That night, I will have my art and camera with me!

Oh, by the way, all work copy-written by the artists and the photos copyright me. Thanks!
