Moving art supplies and home made me stop and think at the evolution of my art studio over the years. This is a quick list of how my art studio space has evolved over the last 12 years.
1. Dining room table and/or bedroom corner (both spaces required take down every two weeks).
2. 10 x 10 foot space with only two usable walls and very limited storage.
3. 10 x 10 foot space with LOTS of wall space and limited storage.
4. Travel package of watercolors, two pens, a pencil, a pencil sharpener, and a sketchbook and a box 13 x 9 x 7 inches, all kept on the coffee table in the living room.
5. FUTURE SPACE: 19 x 17 foot space with wonderful windows, LOTS of wall space, storage, floor space...truly a dream coming true.
While browsing the blogs I read, found South Africa artifacts indicate a 100,000-year-old art studio - latimes.com, 'via Blog this'. Wonder if their art studio was a cave corner and inside of a basket?
