Another palm tree from my Absence of Green series, but this one has some green.
Don't remember how this one came about other than I sketched something up and decided to do an exercise from Lisa Call's Working In a Series course. Was my exercise successful? Yes: lines variety, shapes, limited number of colors make this painting design work for me. Am I still fascinated by palm trees? Yes.
Palm trees are just every where here in Florida. There are so many kinds of them! Even the ones I see daily look different every time I look.
