Angeline Marie using Encaustic Techniques

This video is just to give you a little idea of how I use beeswax. The more technical term for beeswax painting is "encaustics." There are lots of ways and ideas of how to use encaustics.

Some of my completed encaustic paintings are inspired by the book Encaustic Workshop. There are great techniques, ideas, and processes in this book I have yet to try.

For more information about my encaustic art, please visit my webpage
Angeline Marie's Fine Art / Encaustic. There you will find other examples of encaustic art as well as the blog posts about each completed piece.

Thanks for enjoying the video. If you have further questions and/or comments, please feel free to leave a comment on this blog.

Smiles!

Thanks for the video... I had no idea how you used the beeswax (other than the initial heating). That looks like a good deal of work, a bit of pain from the heat and a whole lot of fun!!!
