Ignite Imagination - Photos Influencing Art Series

Tired, sleepy, and cold, my eyes would not tear away from the plane's porthole on the flight between Illinois and Atlanta. Andy later asked me why I did not sleep because he knew how I felt. The photos are the answer visually, my verbal answer was that the colors held me fascinated.

These photos and some of the recent sky views around my home are influencing what is quickly becoming a new series of art work.

What ignites your imagination?

Totally understand. I am fascinated by clouds. You rarely see one of my landscapes/seascapes without some form of interesting clouds.

Looking forward to your series.

Clouds are vital in most landscape photographs too. I think the shadows that some of these clouds cast on the earth are interesting from that perspective. VERY cool painting idea!
