Everything is crazy right now in my life.
Most is of good things...
just one lingering white elephant...
but life is good
with twists, turns, and changes
and lucky me
every one I love is alright or getting better.
Thank God.
Conversation pattern lately:
Someone: Have you packed yet for Paris?
Me: Not yet.
Someone: What do you mean? You leave soon!
Me: I am busy getting ready for my art exhibit.
Me: It is eight days before I leave for Paris! Am so excited because it is my first art exhibit!
Someone: Oh.
Me: You are welcome to attend! Come out for a nice Saturday night for art.
Someone: Oh. Well, sure. That is exciting, too (words dripping doubt). But you are going to pack soon for Paris?
Me: Yes, starting the day after the exhibit opening.
In the meantime, my friends Elcira and Janis have packed, re-packed, and weighed their luggage. Guess what I will be doing two days before I leave?
