Necessary Evil? Art About Japan

Necessary Evil? ©2011 encaustic techniques, 8 x 8 in.

Necessary Evil? is part of my art exhibit Once Drove Through Florida. When the tsunami hit Japan and the news when nuclear, this was my reaction. As Japan makes decisions about their future, and the world awaits to learn just how much of the Earth has been affected by radiation contamination. If you look at reports by officials from INPO, NEI, and NRC, most of the junk has dissipated and become part of the normal background. Still, decisions are being made all across the Earth of how to deal with our need for electrical energy.

Some past posts that include mention of nuclear power:

Save the date! You are invited to share more art at my exhibit opening Once Drove Through Florida on Saturday, August 20th, at the Children's Gallery and Art Center that runs through September 13th, 2011. Would love to see you there!

Remember, too, to explore Paris, France with me during my Fridays in France posts which began Friday, May 6th. Interested in original art from Paris? Check out my Send Paris to You Project!

Smiles!!!!
