Mature Audiences Only Original Mixed Media Design

Mature Audiences Only, 8 x 8 inches, 3D collage on canvasboard,©2015 Angeline Marie
If you have an older independent wonderful loved one, you will be involved in doing stuff like home repairs. Wonderful Handy Andy was about to toss this blister package after a small house job that made Mama very very happy. The robots Mature Audiences Only were very very happy that I rescued them and brought them to life.

In high school, everyone is sex-crazed...at least at my Catholic high school we were, LOL. We spent quite a number of lunches twisting every phrase into double-meanings and inventing insults. Oh, how we laughed!

There are quite a number of phrases cut from different packages and magazines. Some you can only see if you meet Mature Audiences Only in person. We can definitely work on how to make that happen!

Chinese New Year Palm Tree Painting

Chinese New Year, 6 x 6 inches, mixed media on wood,
©2015 Angeline Marie
Jackie Chan movies make me laugh while fascinating me. How he moves! I adore watching Shaolin kung fu...even if I can't fight my way out of a paper bag!

The colors of this are very Chinese with the golds and reds. It was intentional...as a small nod to celebrating the Chinese New Year this past February.

What movies make you laugh?

Grays Blue Sparks Palm Tree Abstract Painting

Grays Blue Sparks Palm Tree, 8 x 8 inches, acrylics on canvasboard ©2015 Angeline Marie

This was the first painting finished after sinus surgery in April. A walk around the nearby park had me stopping at every bench for a time out. I can breathe! I can breathe!

I love the muted colors of this abstract palm tree. The blues are pieces of hope, like blue skies glimpsed between gray clouds.

Hope you are doing well and can breathe!

If you love this, please share this post. Thanks!

Day 7: Gray Sun Day Abstract Palm Tree Painting

Gray Sun Day Abstract Palm Tree Painting, 8 x 8 inches, acrylics oncanvas panel, 2015, $100
I was cautiously optimistic when this was painted.

It was just after surgery and I was still scared that I was not going to feel better and breathe better than I was.

The bright yellow and blues...contrasted with the neutral gray and darker blues matched my mood.

I do feel better. I can smell the rain! I can smell sunshine heat on the asphalt!

It's 7 days into the #30Paintingin30Days challenge!!!!! I have so many more paintings and designs to share with you! Some paintings await your enjoyment since March...some a much shorter time.

I hope you like Gray Sun Day Abstract Palm Tree Painting!

Day 5 of 30: Ziyu Palm Tree Abstract

Ziyu Palm Tree Abstract Painting, 8 x 8 inches, acrylics on canvas panel,
2015, $100
This is one of my favorite palm tree abstract paintings.
What to do you see in the shapes?

What do the colors suggest, how the colors are laid out?

In case you did not know, many "um, I don't think so" designs are left unseen in my sketchbooks. LOL. This is one that hopped out!

I do hope you like Ziyu Palm Tree.

Day 1 of 30: Sunflower Lost on Echos Small Original Painting

Sunflower Lost on Echos,  5 x 3 inches,
acrylics on paper, 2015
There are so many things that get in the way of what you really, really, really want to do, eh?

Things like
- what HAS to be done
- chores
- running errands
]
\\\\\]== (Simon cat just walked on my keyboard!)
- cats or dogs insisting on playing or loving or walking...
- just be with loved ones...
- health.

Health got to me this year. I could not breathe. So I kept it simple: paint sunflowers. This is one of the sunflowers I liked.

Here comes Simon, again...to walk across my keyboard and insist on a loving rub down, so I best leave you for another day of the 30 Paintings in 30 Days....
